The agreement becomes effective upon acceptance of our terms when you register and by your use of the site and its services and remains in effect forever unless terminated by either you when you close your account or (The Site) if we close your account for any reason.

Dating Over 50 reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account for any reason we deem appropriate at any time. We reserve the right to either give a reason or not depending upon circumstances and reasons.

We further reserve the right to amend or remove content both text and graphical content from your profile if it falls outside of our acceptance terms or we deem the content to be offensive or defamatory or unacceptable in the spirit of the website. We will at our sole discretion decide what is unacceptable.

In the event of any of the services available to you being suspended, restricted or your profile account being closed you agree that all fees paid by you to Dating Over 50 is non refundable up to and including the date of the suspension or removal of service. Any pending payments will be due by you up to that date which will be notified to you as a paid member. Should you elect to close your account you must do so within your profile under My Account settings to close your account yourself. When you pay for membership of Dating Over 50 services you are entitled to use those services for the period of time permitted within your payment option chosen. If you subsequently close your account prematurely before the expiration of the time period paid for you agree you are not entitled for any partial refund of any unused time. This also applies if Dating Over 50 decides to close your account prematurely for non compliance to our terms of falling foul of what we deem to be acceptable behavior within the community, or any allegations that Dating Over 50 are made aware of and accept as being inappropriate behavior towards other members.

We have a responsibility to the community of members as a whole and we do not tolerate any behavior by any member who abuses other member's rights for decency and acceptable behavior.

Your Right to Appeal

You have a right to appeal against any such termination and we will review your case on its own merits and our decision will be final and at our sole discretion. If you feel Dating Over 50 has been unfair you may email to membership@datingover50.com or write to the registered office to lodge your concerns or appeal against our decision. Dating Over 50 reserve the right to communicate with any member past or present we deem necessary to gather information or to advise of any outcome of membership suspension or removal whilst protecting your individual rights under the Data Protection Act which we abide by.


Standard Status [FREE]

Entitles members to register, search, send and receive winks and gifts, receive alerts by email of activity.

Full Status [PAID]

Entitles members to do as Standard status plus you can send and read messages, post messages on Forum and use the online instant live messaging chat facility to live chat with other members.

UPGRADE [FULL] to Full Access of all services Fee Paying
DOWNGRADE [STANDARD] to standard Free

Your Right to Cancel Your Paying Membership

You have the right to either downgrade your membership to [Standard Status] or cancel your membership all together at any time without further commitment.

Upgrade your account

To upgrade your account to FULL Status to avail yourself the full services simply click on the UPGRADE link when you are logged in to your account or go to Edit Preferences to click on the Upgrade link to go to the secure page to select your payment options.

Downgrade your account

To downgrade your account to FREE non paying status and to remain on the site as a non paying member please phone 08450 524 710 between the hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday to speak to one of our operatives.

Close your account

Within your profile once logged in you can access your Account and click on "Edit Preferences" you will see a "Close Account" link where you can close your account and cease all further communication and notifications from Dating Over 50 community. Your own subscription will be terminated at the end of the subscription period you have agreed to pay for our subscription periods are: - 1 month / 2 months / 3 months / 6 months / 12 months.

Your account access and activity will cease when you close your account you will not be entitled to any refund for unused days you have agreed to within the payment option you chose.

Cancellation of your paid membership by Dating Over 50

If for any reason your account is closed or suspended by Dating Over 50 you will be notified by email of the closure and any you will not be entitled to any refund for unused days paid within the subscription option you selected.

Closure of Account for Illness, Disability or Death

In the unlikely event your account requires closure due to illness either physical and/or physiological conditions, physical disability or in death to close your account we require a letter from your appointed representative Dating Over 50 will be pleased to assist to close your account and cease payment subscription. In order for a continuity of service without interruption of access Dating Over 50 will automatically renew your membership term and process payment by card used at the same period term you had elected i.e. One Month / Two Month / Three Month / Six Month / 12 Month. We will notify of the renewal at time of renewal should you no longer wish to continue membership it is your responsibility to notify Dating Over 50 of your request by phoning 08450 524 710 between the hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Altering Subscription Period Options

If you wish to alter your subscription term you must inform us no later than 10 days prior to the expiration time left of your current period of active membership to enable us to alter your preferred subscription term please call 08450 524 710 between the hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday if you wish to alter your membership subscription period.

We always communicate with you upon payment of your subscription period and the date of expiration of your service please ensure you take note of the dates, and by entering this agreement you are agreeing to be bound by its terms. Should you decide to close your account you will not be entitled to any refund of unexpired days paid for.
